Dear Carl,
Thank you for the answer. While reading it, I got another thought: can this
participle have a meaning of an adverb relating to that implicit ESTW in
the first clause? "Let your manner be not-in-love-with-money..." How?
"contenting
yourselves with your present circumstances."
