Certainly. I think that is very clear. What is less clear is whether
the LOGOS of the prologue refers specifically to Christ or in general
to God's revelatory-theme (as Joe puts it). Or, as some would
contend, to all of the above and perhaps even more.

I think the allusion to Gen 1:1 places the emphasis of LOGOS squarely
on God's "words", be they spoken, written or living flesh.
