<x-flowed>To: Rick Hammer,

I would make the following recommendations.

(a) "A Grammatical Analysis of the Greek New Testament" by Max Zerwick and
Mary Grosvenor (Rome: Biblical Institute Press). This is a verse by verse
aid which helps with vocabulary, morphology, and syntax.

(b) "Complete Vocabulary Guide to the Greek New Testament" by Warren C.
Trenchard (Zondervan).

(c) read any (and all) of the Gospels.

Also, one might consider obtaining the following:

(d) "Synopsis Quattuor Evangeliorum" by Kurt Aland (Deutsche
Bibelgesellschaft). This presents the four gospels in parallel columns.

(e) "Reading New Testament Greek" by Bernard Brandon Scott et al.
(Hendrickson Publishers).

For the Synoptic gospels this "Reading New Testament Greek" lists words
occurring nine times or less according to Aland's pericopes.
