Randall,
I did some more work on this.
There are no 2nd or 1st person passives of DIDWMI but I did find two texts
that look interesting:
Matt 25:29
TWi YAR EXONTI PANTI DOQHSETAI
Lk 19:26
PANTI TWi EXONTI DOQHSETAI
These texts look like candidates for subjects which are also semantic
Recipients. I am not sure that these texts are good examples for I have a
sneaking suspicion that the real subject of DOQHSETAI is not expressed in
these passages. However, these are the best examples I could come up with.
I am in over my head as usual, doing stuff I don't quite understand but that
is the only way to learn anything.
Thanks again for your help with this Randall.
