NT Greek and LXX Greek Question

This passing note on "Just Beginning: What do I do next?" caught my
attention:

What other Greek would someone who knows "New Testament" Greek ONLY be able
to read?

Could this individual, with additional vocabulary, be able to study the LXX?

Any other Hellenistic Greek writings?
