The Catholic Epistles. The first mention of James' Epistle by name occurs in the
third century, in Origen. Also Clemes Romanus quotes it. Shepherd of Hermas
quotes it, also Ireneus. Clemens Alexandrinus commented it. None of the Latin
father before the fourth century quote it. Paul (Gal. 2:9) arranges the
names James, Peter (Cephas), John in the order in which Epistles
