(Como siempre mi agradecimiento a los que se han tomado la tarea de
traducirme).
Yo pienso que gramaticalmente el asunto puede tener explicación desde que
DOKEI, también puede tener una connotación de "pensar" (un ejemplo que nos
puede ayudar lo encontramos en Mt. 3:9 DOZHTE). Entonces gramaticalmente, o
parafraseando el verso podemos tener algo así:" si algún hombre sobre todo
joven escoge despues de todo lo que he dicho (está hablando Pablo) alguna
discusión y piensa o cree estar en lo correcto que así sea." Contra alguna
necesad que pudiera salir como esta, ya Pablo ha dicho algo en esta misma
Carta, véase por ej. 1:20. Quizá sea bueno agregar el "nosotros", Pablo sin
duda se refiere a los ápostoles y al pueblo judio que ha recibido el
Evangelio como una primicia, aunque en este verso quizá sea un poco más
explicito y se esté refiriendo a él mismo y a sus seguidores. Finalmente me
parece que la expresión "no such custom" "no tenemos esa costumbre" traduce
mejor el griego tanto al Inglés como al Español. Deseo aprovechar (sorry Dr.
Conrad for the publicity) para felicitar al website Koine.com
