Because the subject is first person plural ("we" -MEN ending) and in Koine
Greek forms of hEAUTWN/OIS/OUS have come to take the place commonly of
older ALLHLWN/OIS/OUS and distinct first- and second-person reflexive
pronouns (hHMWN AUTWN, etc.).
