[b-greek] Developing web-based course <LYR104192-75752-2000.08.31-00.00.11--noel.fitzpatrick#ucd.ie@franklin.oit.unc.edu>

Congratulations to Sandra Hack Polaski for planning to develop a
web based course on NT Greek. It is an excellent idea.

The problem is that there is an excessive amount or material
available, rather than the opposite.

However I would suggest that the Little Greek
(http://metalab.unc.edu/koine/) and Perseus Project sites
(http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/) should be included, along with links
to them. The Little Greek site contains excellent information on
resources for learning Greek. It is maintained by Jonathan Robie.

As well as the Greek new testament gateway, already suggested,
(http://www.ntgateway.com/greek.htm) of Mark Goodacre, the
resource pages for biblical studies (http://www.hivolda.no/asf/kkf/rel-
stud.html) is of interest.

Even in a web based course I consider it vital that students talk to
the teacher and to each other about their progress.

I wish Sandra every success in her new course.

Regards,

Noel.
