Yes, most definitely and all the way down to it's harbor, the Piraeus. To see the
nature and the extent of the wall, how it changed through the ages, and what became of
it during and after the Pelopponesian War, see the wonderfully illustrated and
extremely illuminating _The Ancient City: Life in Classical Athens and Rome_ by Peter
Connolly and Hazel Dodge (Oxford, 1998).
