able to download it intact. You may need to download the WP fonts to do
so.
I'm going to try to convert the thing to PDF format with embedded fonts
so that it will be readable online without having to download it.

In the Microsoft Word (2000 only?) format (.doc), you can save the fonts
that you use on the file itself, a type of encryption. Go to
Tools/Options, "Save" tab. Click on "Embed TrueType fonts." It will save
with the .doc file that you upload to your FTP site. Then, for the Word
(2000) users, it would not be necessary to download the WP fonts (which I
did for the sake of reading your paper).
