Welcome to B-Greek, Alan. One caution, before responding to your query:
please hereafter would you use plain-text ASCII rather than styled text
when posting to B-Greek--styled text results in longer digests that include
both the original and HTML-coded versions of such messages.

Two standard Latin grammars in English are Gildersleeve & Lodge and Allen &
Greenough, the latter on-line at:

        http://ccat.sas.upenn.edu/jod/AG/allgre.contents.html

but in a newer version that is still under revision at the Perseus site:

        http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/cgi-bin/ptext?doc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.04.0001

You might want to look at the page of Latin language/grammar resources
assembled at the About.com Latin site:

        http://latin.about.com/homework/latin/library/weekly/aa082299.htm

Another good resource for materials in Latin as well as in Greek is:

        http://www.cs.utk.edu/~mclennan/OM/grk-lat.html

If you're interested in Medieval Latin particularly, you might want to look at:

        http://www.georgetown.edu/labyrinth/library/latin/latin-lib.html

Finally, for Augustine, I don't think you could do better than to start
with the Confessions, especially since Jim O'Donnell of the U. of PA has
put on line the entire Latin text and commentary of his authoritative
edition of the Confessions at:
