Dear List members,

In his Thru the Bible Commentary, J. Vernon McGee links the
word sincere in Philippians 1:10 (Gk. EILIKRINHS) with the
latin word "sincerus", asserting that "sincerus" means "without
wax".

Could any of you point me to an academic resource where
this relationship between EILIKRINHS/sincerus/without wax
is substantiated? Thank you.

Please send a copy of your reply to my email address, since
I only receive the digested version of the List.

Respectfully,

Ruben Gomez
