I was thinking about how to respond to this question when Paul's response
came through; I don't disaagree with him on this; I would only add that
hINA + subjunctive is indeed parallel to the direct imperative in -ATW. As
for an implicit introductory verb, we already find in Hellenistic Greek
AFES OR AFIETE or the like (Modern Greek AS), but you could as easily
supply KELEUW ("I urge ..." or PARAKALW ("I exhort ...").
