Concerning this...

1st Corinthians 15:1-4
And that he was buried, and that he rose again
THE THIRD DAY according to the scriptures:

Where it was suggested that THi TRITHi hHMERAi was
an alternate expression for Tuesday-Wednesday...

I might add to Mark's response this...

The same expression can be found in Luke 24:7 (with
24:21), where it is used to indicate the first day of
the week (24:1).
