[b-greek] MEGALUNEI

In reading Luke 1:47 I ran across the word MEGALUNEI. I fairly well
understand what the word means but what puzzles me is what words is it
composed of? I can detect the word MEGA or MEGAL, but how should I
understand the rest of the word? Is it a compound word, if so what is the
second word? Is there some sort of vowel change going on involving the U?
Just curious but if any one has any thoughts I would appreciate it. Thank
you
