I apologize for the problems people have been facing with the archives and the search engine. I would like to approach this problem as follows:

1. Restore the hypermail-style archives that we used previously. The format will be slightly different, but look at these links to get the basic idea:
Index: http://www.ibiblio.org/bgreek/archives/97-11/
By subject: http://www.ibiblio.org/bgreek/archives/97-11/subject.html
By author:http://www.ibiblio.org/bgreek/archives/97-11/author.html>
2. Establish a search engine for the generated web pages

I can do this on the current site, and I think I can do this in a reasonable amount of time.

In addition, I am looking for two technically competent volunteers to assist me in maintaining the mailing list and archives. These people would also help with the other related sites - B-Hebrew and Biblical-Languages. My own availability varies, so I need other people who can cover for me when I am on the road or overwhelmed with a current project. Volunteers can reply to this message or respond to me privately.

Again, I apologize for not providing better service.
