BHMA can hardly be considered a rewards ceremony as in the Olympics. It is a
judgment seat where one is "paid back" or judged according to what one has
done. If one has done nothing KAKOS (or FAULOS), then there will be no
punishment.
(Concerning FAULOS, Mark, I admit that I did not take time to look up FAULOS
in any dictionary before my posting. My basis was only a quick look at all
the NT occurrences and judging from context. Carl already responded well.)

The only other place Paul uses BHMA is in Rom 14:10 PARASTHSOMEQA TWi BHMATI
TOU QEOU.

Mark, do you see the BHMA of Christ in 2 Cor 5:10 as different from BHMA of
God in Romans? If so, that could explain some of the exegetical difficulties
you seem to have. This can easily move into theology, so I'll stop here. I
just wanted to comment on BHMA.

Thanks,
Iver Larsen
