Luke,
Punctuation is a big difference. Take a look at the colons and commas for
one and you will find that the texts differ significantly.
Another big issue the English section titles in UBS. These titles are handy
for finding a topic but they are a real distraction for those trying to
analyze the semantic structure and and locate the discourse boundaries.
Since you have Accordance you can print out your own text without any of
these distractions.
Another issue is readability. The text-critical markup in NA27 is a
distraction for new users. The UBS text-critical markup is much less
intrusive. However the UBS4 typeface is an abomination (IMHO) being both
too light and too italic. If you want the UBS format get a pristine used
copy of UBS3 which has nice readable type. The type in NA27 is readable but
for new users the text critical markup will take some getting used to.
There are other differences in the front matter and back matter, but these
are the major issues.
