The Supreme Court has announced
officially overruled the Communications Decency Act, as described in their
official decision. Some call it a victory for free speech, others a
defeat for protection of children. We of the NOC, recognizing that the
CDA was a controversial and important piece of legislation, want to
provide you with a range of opinions and materials on it. This isn't just
of importance to the people responsible for networking in your schools and
classrooms, it's also important history in the making, something which
truly concerns your students and is happening in government today.
