favorite childrens books growing up: when i'm six, i'll fix anthony by judith viorst and crabapple night by steven kellogg. each centers on themes of revenge... hmmm.
grew up in this 1912 house. word is its haunted by one of the ladies in the picture, but i've only heard weird noises and footsteps, seen chairs rock by themselves, books flying out of bookcases, that type of thing. the cold spots in the hallway went away before i was born, and whatever it was that scared one of my relatives in what would become my bedroom has never come back. i also slept on the couch all the time without waking up to see a glowing elderly woman standing beside me. sometimes i felt left out.

- the hiram key and second messiah - christopher knight and robert lomas. a romantic and fascinating if not totally plausible conspiracy theory involving freemasonry, the templars, ancient egypt, and the original jerusalem church. yum.

computer hardware: sgi. has won my best case award for more than a decade now. though my macbook pro is beginning to sway me.
