Forest Service Employees for Environmental Ethics was formed in 1989 by a group of Forest Service employees who suffered agency reprisals when they drew attention to illegally high logging rates.

FSEEE is a partnership between Forest Service employees and concerned citizens working to safeguard our national forests for the public interest. We don't oppose the multiple use of public lands, but we do oppose unsustainable use of any kind, whether it be logging, grazing or recreation.

We've recently developed a project designed to support sustainable grazing on public lands. Range Stewardship Certification aims to enable ranchers who practice exceptional stewardship to win market rewards for their conservation efforts.

We welcome the interest of any rancher, but we're especially looking to work with people who hold public lands grazing allotments.
