Here's a screenshot of the fplan graphical previewer. The previewer is designed to provide a "quick look" capability, and is not intended to provide a chart suitable for actual navigation. A simple unprojected latitude, longitude coordinate system is used, so straight lines do not correspond to either rhumbline or great circle courses, (as is the case for Mercator and Gnomonic projections respectively). The previewer requires X11 and the XView Toolkit from Sun Microsystems.
