"Cash or charge?" the clerks would ask.
"Charge it please," I always said.
Little did I know I'd have had a stroke if I
could have added in my head
all those things I wanted when real need
was nowhere found,
filled up my mind, my house, my life
till one day it all crashed down
upon me like a ton of bricks or
death read in the cards
when my husband opened up my mail and
took my credit cards!
I watched in tearful agony, swearing I
knew that I could quit
as he took my faithless scissors and
cut them all to bits!
