U-1105 VIIC Off Eastern Seabord of U.S. 19 SEP 49 Used in demolition tests--sank as a result.
U-1406 XVIIB New York City 18 MAY 1948 Sold for scrap to private industry.
U-2513 XXI Off Dry Tortugas (Key West area) 7 OCT 1951 Sunk during rocket firing tests in 200 feet of water. Refloated in 1952 by USS Petrel during salvage exercise 15-21 SEP 1952(?)
U-3008 Disposition unknown. Tied up at San Juan, Puerto Rico in November 1954 while arrangements were underway to dispose of hulk for scrap. U-3008 had been the object of extensive and varied tests.
U-805* IXC Off U.S. East Coast 8 FEB 1946 Sunk.
U-1228* IXC Off U.S. East Coast 5 FEB 1946 Sunk

* Unlike the other submarines listed, these were not allocated to the United States (or to any other country) under the Allied agreements of 1946. These agreements specified that unallocated sumbarines were to be sunk immediately.
