I just found this site and wish I'd seen it sooner... Perhaps instead of wondering why the TauC's aren't sending us more messages, we could just ask them. It seems we have enough of a vocabulary to ask about certain things; if we can't tell an eye from a brain, we can ask if the organ relates to light/heat or not. Maybe we could send them hex-raster maps of ourselves, teach them base 10 counting, or get in a weighty discussion of -A- or -3-.
