It appears that U and T are their subtraction operators, and that K represents a negative value. T works in the manner: right-left=mid U works in the manner: left-right=mid K is another encapsulating operator to mean a negative. I think the reason that K, and other things are encapsulating things is that they may be subsets of a phrase, sort of like our brackets, except K would mean everything inside is negative... possibly something like K nice K could mean bad.
