!060594 Lithuania becomes 69th member of the PCT



    The United States Patent and Trademark Office received notification from
the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) that Lithuania deposited
its instrument of accession to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) on April
5, 1994.  Lithuania will become the 69th Contracting State of the PCT on
July 5, 1994.  Consequently, nationals and residents of Lithuania are
entitled to file international applications under the PCT on and after July
5, 1994, and from the same date it is possible to file international
applications designating and electing Lithuania (country code: LT).
