Re: pointcast and Murdoch (fwd)

I expect to see quite a bit more on this topic.
BTW I think that both Pointcast and Murdoch see the technology as conduit 
for their content. BUT if Mcluhan is right, the medium IS the content. 
What content can pointcast successfully carry? Snippets? Tickers? Inch 
square annimated ads? AND does it really make sense to push to a computer 
that is idle--as pointcast does?
