  • American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. A non-profit group that works nationwide to protect rare breeds of livestock from extinction. (919) 542-5704
  • Carolina Farm Stewardship Association. A membership association of farmers, gardeners, businesses and consumers concerned with the health of the land and the quality of its food yields. (919) 542-2402
  • Chatham County Cooperative Extension Service. One of NC State's agricultural extension agencies providing advice and practical research. (919) 542-8202
  • Rural Advancement Foundation International (RAFI-USA). Non-profit dedicated to conserving genetic diversity, safe food, family farms. (919) 542-1396
  • Central Carolina Community College Sustainable Farming Program. A curriculum of entrepreneurial and technical skills for developing a profitable, environmentally sound, community-based small farm or agriculture-related business. (919) 542-6495
