I happened to get a Micro-Mark ad mail today touting their etching kit is discounted to $80. The kit is for making small parts via photo etching. Ferric chloride is the etchant and the metals used are copper and brass. So I wonder how such a process would work on zinc, steel and aluminiumumm. Any thoughts from the chemcal literati? That's what I want, maximum dynamics with the volume turned to zero. Uuuggghhhh! This is typical of how political propagandists and advertisers rearrange one's mind without telling anything useful. Maybe if the audiophooles would put there heads inside an airtight container and then evacuate it they could have the ultimate experience in low noise and exceptional dynamics - they couldn't hear their heads explode....
