This is Alfred Vail's 1847 writeup of Morse's Electric Telegraph.
It is in postscript and MUST be printed on a postscript printer.
That will make the cover (vailcov.ps) and the book (vailplai.ps)
in printer-ready postscript format.  THE FILES TAKE UP 5 megabytes
of disk space so MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SUFFICIENT ROOM TO HANDLE THEM!
