Abstract: ALGEB is a language designed to satisfy needs that arise
in doing computational Algebra and Number Theory.
Computer users who are dissatisfied with other
programming languages for this type of work will be
pleased by the features of ALGEB. ALGEB is a
block-structured recursive language in the ALGOL-PASCAL
family. Matrix and vector manipulation features,
array-type procedures, and operations with integers of
essentially unlimited size are provided; floating-point
operations are not.
The language has been thoroughly tested over three years
of fruitful university research. It will run on any PDP-ll,
Media (Service Charge Code): Two RX01 Diskettes (KB) Format: RT-11,
600' Magnetic Tape (MA) Format: RT-11
