2 Lane Driving Tips

by Nikibe

1. When overtaking on two lane undivided roads, put your left indicator on as you pull out into the opposing lane and keep it on as long as you are in that lane. This warns oncoming traffic that you are in their lane.

2. Put your right indicator on the moment you have cleared the car on the right and before you pull back into the right lane. This tells oncoming traffic that you have seen them and are moving back into your own lane.

3. Finally, when turning left on two lane undivided roads, move as close to the center line as possible when you put your left indicator on. This lets many cars behind you know that you are turning left rather than just the one immediately behind.
