The HammerSound MessageBoard has existed for almost a year now and has been used by the HammerSound visitors both for site-related stuff, and for discussions of more general nature. Since SoundFonts are a very important part of the HammerSound site, I have long wanted to 'fork' the MessageBoard into one group for SoundFont discussions and one group 'for the rest of the stuff'. John Fournier at www.silco.com has kindly offered to create newsgroups for HammerSound on his news-server, and it seems like good idea to have the SoundFont discussions in a newsgroup instead of in a MessageBoard. The SoundFont topic is after all rather popular, and a newsgroup is better suited to higher traffic than a web-based message-board. Anyway, enough talk, head over to the discussions:
