  This is the official newsgroup for the Society for Creative Anachronism, 
  Inc. (SCA).  The SCA is a non-profit, educational organization which seeks
  to recreate the culture of the Middle Ages (approximately 600-1600 A.D.)  
  The SCA is a worldwide organization that sponsors educational demos and 
  events where participants dress in the clothing of the Middle Ages and 
  host feasts and tournaments.  For more information about membership or
