sci.geo.hydrology

  Surface and groundwater hydrology.

A forum for discussion on issues pertaining to surface and groundwater
hydrology, their relation to climate, water quality issues and water
resource management and policy issues. It is hoped that this will lead
to frank and open discussion and identification of key issues and
directions in the field, easier identification of and access to
data sources, a critical evaluation of modeling and data analysis
methodologies, electronic newsletters, and provide a consulting role, and
stimulate cooperative research. Announcements of meetings, special
sessions and work in progress could be facilitated. We also intend to
set up and manage an electronic archive accessible through ftp, gopher,
www, and mosaic, that will be used as a repository for contributed
manuscripts (and comments), software and data source identifiers, and
will operate in conjunction with this news group.
