This is, of course, litteraly true, but here is a curiosity (at least to
me). Men are commanded to love (AGAPAW) their wives in the NT, Eph
5:25, Eph 5:28, Eph 5:33, Col 3:19, but women are never commanded to
love their husbands. But in an interesting passage at Tit. 2:4 the older
women are to SWFRONIZWSIN TAS NEAS FILANDROUN EINAI FILOTEKNOUS. Carl

compounds and this NT curiosity bear any on the NT meaning and use of
FILEW/FILIA ><AGAPAW/AGAPH ?
