While reading in the 21st chapter of Acts, I came across a construction
21.35 that struck me as interesting. The text reads: SUNEBH BASTAZESQAI
AUTON hUPO TWN STRATIWTWN. I am wondering if SUMBAINW when followed by
a clause ('it happened THAT . . .')is always construed with a following
infinitive with an accusative subject or are there other constructions,
say with hOTI and a finite verb.
