Josephus/Latinisms

I hardly qualify as a Josephus scholar but I recently read in a monograph
by Per Bilde, Tessa Rajak, or one of the other current Josephus scholars,
that Josephus' Greek style varied depending upon how much learned scribal
help he received with his ms.
Somtime since about 1988 or so David Aune published a critical note in
JBL describing a Latinism in Revelation. Don't have the exact reference
at hand.
Thanks Carl for the etymology info. LSJ is on my wish list (sigh!).
