Certain mailers insert a hexadecimal notation of the ASCII value of
certain characters occurring the text after an equal sign (=). Thus,
'=3D' means insert the character with an ASCII value of hex 3D or 61
in decimal. This character happens to be an equal sign '='.

Therefore, S.M.Baugh is writing "MELLOW (P[resent]=4; A[orist]=7)";
"ARCOMAI (P=87; A=0)"; "DUNAMAI (P=7; A=154)"; and "ZHTEW (P=3; A=32)".
