I've been working on a Java-based Beta-Code==>Greek-Text translator
Applet. (It uses the GreekGIF "font".)

If you have a Java-enabled browser, the applet can be viewed at:

Note that the specific application is independent of the underlying
translator code. (I had sort of envisioned this particular applet being
useful, for example, in a separate browser frame and the user pasting
beta-encode text into the input-field.)

Anyway, this is clearly a first draft. Comments/etc gratefully accepted.
