I have been teaching portions of 1 John in my Elementary Greek class for
several semesters. I would like to see some examples of the "epistolary
aorist" in 1st c. papyri -- if anyone knows where I could find them.
Also comments on whether the aorists in 1 John 2:14 should be considered
epistolary would be welcome. I've read the comments of Robertson, Turner,
and Wallace on these considerations.
