Thanks for supporting an open forum

B-Greeks one and all (Since I don't subscribe to the notion that there are
"little Greeks" and "big Greeks" and would prefer to think that, although
there MAY be "big Greeks" and "bigger Greeks," and I know that there are
"fat Greeks"--I am one--and "thin Greeks," and although I deem it possible
that there are "A-Greeks" on some other list on some other planet unknown
to myself, yet here we are all "B-Greeks");

I want to express my gratitude to those who have responded personally to me
with messages of support following the last week's unpleasantness. I am not
merely trying to respond to all of those with one message here, however, so
much as I think it worth noting that they have come from persons across the
whole theological spectrum, and I would like to believe that what this
really means is that there is broad support for the sort of open forum that
we are trying to maintain here for serious students of the Greek Bible of
any and all --or even none--religious persuasions, a forum that is kept
open by respect of all posters for each other and by refraining from
evangelizing for one's own stance or disparaging another's. The current
thread on John 1:1c has been to me a remarkable eye-opener (especially
considering the fact that there have been rather fruitless threads on it
many times previously on this list) as to how much of value people of
widely-variant persuasions can share with each other peacefully over such a
controversial little snippet of scripture.

So--mille grazie for the support I've had, but still more for what the list
has become, through the contributions of so many.
