For the benefit of those who can't read the Latin:

"O blessed race of humankind
if the love whereby heaven is ruled
(really does) rule your hearts!"

This is rather nice but nevertheless a bit wistful. It certainly does
convey my sense in the above-captioned thread that we wouldn't need to set
restrictions on list posts at all if we had enough love. This looks like a
quotation that I should know but don't. Would you tell us the source (or is
this your own nice composition?)?
