1. Yes, sentence diagramming is useful in studying Greek texts, especially
when it delves into aspects of semantic structure. The folks at the Summer
Institute of Linguistics in Dallas, Texas have worked a lot on this area
for the New Testament already. You may want to look at their stuff.
Beekman, Callow, Kopesec, and others have published things useful for
diagramming.

2. No, I don't have C++ programming experience, but do wish to encourage
you to use some programming kit like CodeWarrior so that your code will be
portable to both Mac OS and Windows systems.
