I would not think that the Thessalonians could be so naive as to believe that
the rapture could have occurred with none of their number found missing.
Thus, they still understood that Christ was to return and they would join
him in the air (as Paul explained in 1 Thess 4).

Their alarm would also tell us that they did not expect the rapture to occur
prior to the Great Tribulation allowing them to escape .

If, then, the Thessalonians are alarmed about the approaching Great
Tribulation with no possibility of relief, then where would you place the
rapture in the sequence of events in Matt 24 (assuming that that sequence is
chronological)?
