I used to use Gramcord in dos, but switched to LBASE the forerunner of Bible
Windows because it was far more user friendly. It also had Hebrew search
capabilities years before Gramcord. LBase became Bible Windows years before
Gramcord came out with its windows version for pc. The article mentioned
earlier by Harry Hahne looks at Bible Windows, and not, as far as I remember
Bible Works. I haven't compared lately, but each has strengths and
weaknesses, though I believe that it is gramcord and Bible windows that have
the best search capabilities.
Personally, the fact that Bible Windows has led the way in these areas and
continues to be improved at the best price (again, I have not checked for a
while) means that it would get my business. Also, the creator of Bible
Windows has developed other important software for scholars (eg. to read
Packhard Humanities CDs).

Windows (form Silver Mountain Software). You can address me off-list.
