I' sorry to have created controversy about the language in which posts are
made to the list. I apologize for the insensitivity of my idea. I just
thought that since we have contributors to this list from a number of
different language backgrounds, Norwegian, German, Greek, and Spanish to
mention just four that come quickly to mind, we might all soon find ourselves
left out of parts of any given discussion at any given time. I was assuming
that a person wishing to respond to a post must be able to read the language
in which it is posted well enough to reply in kind. I should have thought of
the embarrassment factor. (I am personally a spelling cripple and find myself
embarrassed when I get in a hurry and realize that I have sent off a post
without running the spell checker on it.)
I was also bit frustrated, because I could tell (without knowing Spanish)
that what Daniel had to say was of great interest to me. Thanks to David for
the translation. When I read that I knew that I truly had been missing out.
An Daniel, thanks much for your translation and for your English Comments on
the subject of the language of our posts to the list. David's translation was
welcome and appreciated, but it was nice "hearing your voice" directly since
they were your thoughts. Daniel, may I also say that what you wrote in
English was well put and understood. Like many posts I have read on B-greek
over the years, you could tell that the author was not a native speaker of
English, (something like a certain Roman centurion, possibly thinking in Latin
and speaking Greek) But your intent was very clear and I thank you for your
effort.

My apologies to the list and my thanks to Daniel for his helpful, and
insightful comments regarding EIPE LOGWi.
