I certainly had no unfriendly tone in my voice, I assure you. And neither
do I think that direct questions need long, convoluted, inarticulate answers
which die the death of a 1000 qualifications. A direct question received a
direct answer (with an explanation, I might add). I did not intend it
harshly, nor should it be takne that way by anyone.

Is there? Among which segment of the population? And surely if the lad is
a Greek student he has had, or is taking, some introduction to the NT
course. Surely he has not been shielded from such evils as rhetorical
criticism or historical criticism, has he?
